Wow it was a busy week last week; I'm going to be just as busy this week too! Oh well I'll just have to get through next week and the week after then I'll be on holidays! hoorrraaahh! Hubby had a big project release last week he wasn't finishing work until mid-nightish and driving back home was getting a bit much for him so on Thursday night we decided to stay in Town, at the Diplomat. We have stayed there before but weren't impressed with the room, we decided to go back because it was the cheapest place available and it’s fairly close to the City and our favorite places to eat. We've stayed at a few other hotels in Canberra, Hotel Realm, The Novotel and both the Rydges and they charge the same rate that you'd pay at places like the Hilton on Pitt st in Sydney! So it'll be the Diplomat until prices come down at the other Hotels in Canberra.
Despite the madness that was last week I still managed to do a spot of shopping. I needed a new powder compact so I went to Benefit and picked up the Hello flawless powder in settle petal as well as speed brow gel and realness of concealness. Popped over to Mac and picked up Russian red lipglass and tinted lip conditioner in fuchsia. And then!! I was buying some eczema cream at the Chemist, I discovered a full range of Aptiva products – I thought that Aptiva was exclusive to salons!!!! Hearing great things about the Aptiva range I bought 2 lip balms one coco butter formula and the other a rose formula with a baby pink tint. Couldnt resist buying 2 Ultra 3 nail polishes too! Cute!

Had my hair cut on Wednesday afternoon. I was way over due for a restyle my hair is already short but I was surprised how much hair my hairdresser needed to chop off!!!
I was naughty naughty naughty and also went to Sportsgirl and Country Road and purchased, starting with sportsgirl a jersey grey white and beige digital print top, a pair of hoops, a pair of studs and a new cosmetics purse for my handbag. Country Road I bought a stripped T- shirt.
Whilst in the city I treated the boys to strawberry jazzapple cupcakes!! Yummo!
FINALLY it was the weekend and on Saturday we went to the Crookwell markets and visited the famous Christmas shop. GORGEOUS! I wanted everything but I settled on 3 items, a music box style nativity scene, some red heart Xmas tree decorations and a handmade knitted Santa.
OK. That’s it! I hope I survive next week.
Heres me, well here’s my eyes, on Saturday I did a full face of makeup, pink eye-shadows accompanied with some individual falsies!!!
